I am a 22 year old Public Relations Account Executive.
I recently graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications.
My heart is taken by New York. I have a passion for fashion and a love for writing and event planning. I refuse to let anything get in my way of reaching my dreams. I am a believer, and I put my whole heart into anything I feel strongly about.
Growing up with deaf parents wasn't easy, as they relied on me 24/7. I had to become an adult very early on in life, and it's helped make me into the strong, independent woman I am today.
At the age of seven I found my muse. Dance. 'Till this day it is the way I express my feelings. Dancing will always be apart of me, regardless of what anyone else has to say about. Growing up I always had troubles with my weight and when you're jumping and spinning around 5-6 days a week the weight takes a toll on your limbs. From the age of thirteen to now I have dislocated my knees fives times, and as a Varsity Dance Team member back in high school the injuries kept me out of competing a lot. I became depressed and didn't think I had it in me to keep trying, but my heart was telling me quitting won't solve anything. Which is why junior year of high school after I hurt my knee three days before our first competition I made a commitment to attend all practices and competitions, help the other girls in any way I could, and go to physical therapy to strengthen myself as fast as I could. Well, by the end of that season I was awarded MVP and nominated Captain for my senior year.
I strongly believe that if you have a dream, set your goal, and do everything it takes to achieve it, then you will.
